|How was the Festival made possible? Through the generous assistance of sponsors and donors, of course! Here, in this letter to the Blum Foundation, the organisers and participants of the Festival sincerely thank the ANZ Board of Trustees for making a grant available. RE: PROJECT GRANT FOR MOUND AND MOUNT KOSCIUSZKO FESTIVAL – APRIL 2007[/b]
On behalf of Fundacja Kulturalna Pulsu Polonii (The Puls Polonii Cultural Foundation), I would like to confirm receipt of a Blum Foundation Cheque for $5,000 being towards the financing of the above Polish Festival held in Jindabyne and Cooma on 28th and 29th April 2007.[v
The organizers and participants of the Festival wish to thank the Board and Ms Stylianou sincerely for their understanding and support in making this grant available out of the normal funding period, and in such urgent circumstances.
A detailed report of the Festival with full financial details of spending will be provided for the Board’s information within two months.
In the meantime, individual and media reports outlining the success of the Festival can be perused in
(click on Mound and Mount Festival Icon for full archive relating to the Festival). I hope members of the Board will find some time to read about the Festival, and feel assured that Blum Foundation support made a significant difference to the achieved outcomes of the Festival and promotion of Polish achievement and culture.
