Being Polish Downunder
Henryk Kurylewski, President of the PCCA

An analysis of the demographic of the Polish community in Australia demonstrates some interesting statistics:

Nearly 250k Australians have a Polish background.
In the 2021 Census, there were 45,884 people in Australia who were born in Poland.

Despite these statistics, it is estimated that only 11,000 people are directly engaged in Polish community organisations and their activities across Australia.

The Executive Committee of the Polish Community Council of Australia (PCCA) is embarking on a free online consultation / workshop with anyone of Polish heritage, regardless of their current involvement with the Polish community, to explore the notion of our future cultural purpose and significance in our Polish Australian environment.

The workshop will be run in English but with Polish translation as needed.

On behalf of the Executive Committee of the Polish Community Council of Australia, I seek your strong support in promoting this initiative through your network of family, friends and contact lists.
Thanking you in anticipation of your support and attendance.

Kind regards,
Henryk Kurylewski
President of PCCA
