COORDINATOR OF VOLUNTEER PROGRAMS
Australijsko Wielokulturowe Biuro Usług Społecznych w Maidstone poszukuje Koordynatora Wolontariuszy, ktory poprowadzi nasz program w poludniowo - wschodnich dzielnicach Melbourne. 22.8 godzin tygodniowo.

OBJECTIVE: To assist seniors to participate in community life and feel socially included through meeting their need for social contact and company.
REPORTS TO: Team Leader - Coordinator of Volunteer Programs
CLASSIFICATION: This position is classified under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010. The level of final salary is assessed based on qualifications and relevant experience.
HOURS: 22.8 hours/per week – (FIXED TERM)
COORDINATOR OF VOLUNTEER PROGRAMS
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
 Recruitment of Clients:
- Assess clients for the appropriate volunteer program
- Recruit, select, induct and train volunteers;
- Match volunteers with clients;
- Provide regular on-going training for all volunteers;
- Supervise and support volunteers;
- Organise appreciation functions for volunteers.
 Administration of the Program
- Maintain clients and volunteers files on ongoing basis
- Approve reimbursement statements for volunteers;
- Collect and submit statistics for internal and departmental requirements;
- Monitor and review existing matches;
- Monitor and communicate with clients and volunteers waiting to be matched
 Reports, budgets and policy development:
- Preparation of monthly report
- Preparation and timely submission of reports for the funders;
- Prepare grant submissions and program/service proposals;
- Develop and update appropriate policies for the Program;
- Other duties as directed by management;
 Community Engagement and Marketing:
- Develop strong networks with relevant organisations that result in referrals for the program;
- Promotion of all AMCS programs.

SELECTION CRITERIA  Relevant qualifications in Social Work, Community Development and experience in working with volunteers in the community sector.
 Experience in working with older people and people with disabilities and carers;
 Experience in recruitment, induction, supervision and coordination of volunteers;
 Strong knowledge of social support and other relevant services;
 Computer and report writing skills;
 Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills;
 Creative and enthusiastic, with ability to motivate others;
 Ability to work independently and as a part of a team;
 Current driver’s license.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Continuous employment with the agency is conditional to the receipt of ongoing funding for the program. All employees are subject to satisfactory completion of a six (6) month qualifying period and acceptance by the employer of a current police check.
