Invitation to Kresy-Siberia Mini Conference (12th November)

You are invited to the “Generations Remember” Mini Conference to be held at the St Andrew Bobola Polish Centre, 23 Clifton Street, Richmond from 10am to 5pm on Saturday, 12 November 2016. The program for the day will include:
• News from the “Generations Remember” Conference held in Warsaw in September 2016
• Polish family history resources and hints
• Applying for Polish citizenship on the basis of your ancestry
• “Cross of Siberian Exile” Award Eligibility
• Screening of Wanda Kościa’s film, “My Friend the Enemy”.

The cost for the day, including all sessions, lunch, and morning and afternoon tea is only $50, with generous concessions applying for Kresy-Siberia 2016 supporters. WW2 Survivors (Sybiraks, Kresowians and Combatants) are welcome to join us free of charge.

We will be meeting for dinner at 6.30pm that evening at “After the Tears” Restaurant and Vodka Bar, 9B Gordon Street, Elsternwick (at attendees’ own cost).

It will be a great weekend to be in Melbourne as the Polish Festival @ Federation Square will be held on Sunday, 13 November http://www.polishfestival.com.au. Kresy-Siberia will have a stall there, so if you are there, please do come and see us.
