Pierogi , kołduny i dumplings robią karierę
Kolejna Pierogi Sunday już 21 września!

I would like to let you know that Pierogi Sunday and the Polish Club made it into Daily Telegraph of 9th September. The dumpling article made the front cover of the Telegraph. It is also online at www.dailytelegraph.com.au/news/why-dumplings-are-the-hottest-food-trend-in-sydney-right-now/story-fnov1g0j-1227052618078.

Pierogi Sunday also featured on 2GB radio from the 'Indulge with Dan and Ben' radio segment that went to air on Friday 5th September. To listen to the interview clicking on the link below www.2gb.com/article/indulge-dan-and-ben-35#.VA5-NsKSy8A. Click on "Indulge with Dan and Ben"

Jak czytamy w The Telegraph:
IN KOREA they are known as mandu, the Polish call them pierogi, in Russia they dip their pelmeni in sour cream and the Japanese like their gyoza lightly fried after steaming.

Jest i wywiad z Eleonorą Paton
Eleonore Paton is a director at The Polish Club in Ashfield where the Sunday lunches after church are hugely popular, as is the little shop on the ground floor where expats queue for sausage, hams and frozen pierogi. She has just introduced on the third Sunday of each month, a pierogi menu where you can get a plateful of different flavoured dumplings for just $15. “We’ve only had two (events) so far but we’ve had 100 people turn up on each day. It’s definitely one of our flagship events.”

At the moment offerings include pierogi mieso (meat), pierogi Ruski (Russian) with farmers cheese and potato, and another pierogi with cabbage and mushroom. “You can choose one flavour or choose two or three, and there are six dumplings in total, served with bacon and onion and a garden salad and a range of cakes,” Paton says. “We already have a Sunday lunch and I thought we could do a Polish barbecue and then I thought what do people love most. Dumplings! It’s one of our favourite dishes.”
