The beauty of Jindabyne. Memorial Hall - a group of enthusiasts playing Irish music to those who wish to learn and/or rehearse traditional dances. Ceili and Irish Dancers in Jindabyne's Memorial Hall.

From Memorial Hall off we go to Banjo Paterson Inn, passing by this memorial plaque.  Irish ballads at the pub. Sunday morning, a  Mass at St  Columbkille with Festival  organiser Harry Cummins and his wife Judy.
And  at the church we meet Neen Pendergast, the  descendant of the  very first  Irish settlers in the area. Solemn procession to the altar. Rev. Fr Peter Miller with musicians of Canberra Celtic Pipe Band.
From church we move to the Parish Hall to watch younger  generation of the  pipers and drummers. Canberra Celtic Pipe Band --- the majority of it is made from young people. Famous Fran (on right) - the big boss.
What a dance: Margaret Winett Set Dancers - fiery dance, quite similar  to Polish oberek. Another Irish dance...
And from church we move to Banjo Paterson Park . A concert will take place here. An Irish Memorial. The harp, as they say, resembles the shape of Ireland. Photo Ursula Lang. A Memorial Plaque  beneath the Harp.
This Sunday it was so hot... but no worries, plenty of trees in the park. The Canberra Soundman on duty.
